DESCRIPTION:On Saturday September 23rd SHPE-Fermilab and SHPE-Chicago invite you to this closed out open house \nThe country’s premier particle physics and accelerator laboratory is celebrating by having the biggest Open House in our history. \nWe’re opening our doors wider than ever before\, offering behind-the-scenes tours of more than a dozen areas where scientists are uncovering the mysteries of neutrinos\, searching for dark matter and building the next generation of particle accelerators for science world. \n20\,000 people have already registered to be a part of this history in the making event! \nWe welcome SHPE Members to be a part of our excitement! \n50th Anniversary Open House Video \nThis open house is family friendly and is open to all ages.\nRegistration is now closed to the public\, but paid SHPE Members will be allowed entrance and will be offered FREE bus rides from our Chicago UIC and IIT Campuses to Fermilabs in Warrenville and back. \nSpace is VERY limited and is on a first come\, first serve basis until buses are full. \nClick here for more information about the open house \nSHPE-Chicago will have buses located at our UIC and IIT Campuses those who sign up will be contacted via their registration email with the exact location of the buses. \nWe will be leaving at exactly at 8:00 am from both locations to arrive in Warrenville by 9:00am.
