SHPE Chicago Election Results 2015
The election process has been completed and SHPE Chicago is pleased to inform you that the membership has elected its’ new Executive Board of Directors. The new Executive Board members are as follows:
- Michael Salazar – President
- TBD* – Vice President Professional Development and Corporate Affairs
- Victor Cueto – Vice President Community Affairs and Student Relations
- Sylvia Galvez – Treasurer
- Peter Rios – Secretary
The election of the chapter officers was organized and directed by the SHPE Chicago elections committee and we wish to thank all voting members who participated in the election process. It is evident the amount of interest generated by this election bodes well for SHPE Chicago and its’ future endeavors. We thank all candidates for their continued passion and interest in serving SHPE Chicago and the Hispanic community of the greater Chicagoland area.
We congratulate the new chapter officers and wish them well as they carry out the enormous responsibilty of leading SHPE Chicago over the coming year. We also acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of outgoing board members, for without their continued service over the years, SHPE Chicago would not be the respected service organization that it is.
The new SHPE Chicago Board of Directors will be installed on July 1, 2015 and serve through June 30, 2016.
